also did you see Phil on TV in the 2009 open. he actyaully high 5ed a guy coming off a green... after he just made BOGEY and fell 1 stroke behind.

Some lessons from Randy Pausch’s last lecture that especially moved me:

1. Brick walls are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things.
2. Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted.
3. Never lose the child-like wonder.
4. If we do something which is pioneering, we will get arrows in the back. But at the end of the day, a whole lot of people will have a whole lot of fun.
5. Be good at something; it makes you valuable.
6. If you live your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself, and the dreams will come to you.

One of the reasons why I started this blog over a year ago was to share some positive news with the world rather than negative. Comments like yours are always welcome here. I realize that everything in the "outside" world isn't always positive. But, that is the reason why 99% of the news media is focused on bad and negative news. It's what most viewers want to see and hear.

I don't have a problem with that. I just choose to report on positive news instead.

Thanks for your comments though. Good or bad, they're always welcome.
