Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams by Randy Pausch

Randy Pausch is a professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He has terminal pancreatic cancer and has been told he only has 3 - 6 months left to live. He gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007. In his moving lecture, he talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.

There are two videos here. The first one is about ten minutes long, and gives a great lesson about overcoming obstacles. The second video is his entire lecture, which is over an hour long, and I would recommend taking the time to watch the entire lecture at some point. You'll be moved...

What Do You Want To Do With Your Life? How About 43 Things...

Strange title to a post, huh? Bare with me because there's a reason. I found a website this morning that I think is pretty cool. It's called 43Things.com. It's a social networking website with a good purpose. What can you do on the site?

It's pretty simple really. You list 43 things that you want to do with your life. If you're stuck and can't think of all 43 things, then you can take a look at what others want to do and maybe add one of there things to your list. If you've already done something that someone else wants to do, you can share your story with them and the world. It's a neat site that I think you'll enjoy. Until tomorrow...
