How much more proof has to come out before President Bush's critics will admit that they were wrong to accuse the President of lying about Weapons of Mass Destruction? Maybe this article and story will be the end of it. The story is from ABCNews. Saddam Hussein's son-in-law, who was in control of Iraq's weapons program, admitted on tape that they had Weapons of Mass Destruction and they deliberately hid the information from the U.N. and America.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
This is Saddams' son-in-law speaking to Saddam:
"I go back to the question of whether we should reveal everything or continue to be silent. Sir, since the meeting has taken this direction, I would say it is in our interest not to reveal. Not just out of fear of disclosing the technology we achieved, or to hide it for future work. No. The game has gone on for too long. And now it has become clear to many officials of countries that are coerced to work with America…"
Earlier in the article, here is another quote from him:
"Not the type of the weapons, not the volume of the materials we imported, not the volume of the production we told them about, not the volume of use. None of this was correct. They don't know any of this. We did not say we used them on Iran. We did not reveal the volume of the chemical weapons that we had produced. We did not reveal the type of the chemical weapons. We did not reveal the truth about the volume of the imported materials."
It makes me sick that evidence like this is completely ignored by critics of President Bush. Whether you like him or not, facts are facts. Saddam used chemical weapons against his own people. That is a fact. He would have used them against Israel, the U.S. or any other country he didn't like if he had been given the opportunity.

Have a great day and keep our soldiers in your thoughts and prayers. They are fighting to protect us and our way of life. That is a fact!
J. Anthony
P.S. I apologize for the somewhat negative story, but I believe that for us to live a more positive life, it is important for citizens in the United States to stand up and make our feelings known when other citizens and politicians ignore facts for political reasons.
