Reduce Your Risk of Cancer - Get Some Sunlight has an interesting article today about how increasing our Vitamin D intake can significantly decrease our chances of developing certain types of cancer such as Colon, Breast and Ovarian cancer. What is interesting about the article is they encourage everyone to try and get at least 10-15 minutes of direct sunlight without sunscreen. This seems to provide the body with more Vitamin D than supplements or even milk.

While this is not necessarily new news, it is important because most researchers have been preaching to never go out in the sun without sunscreen, but it makes sense because our bodies were designed to utilize sunlight in limited doses. So, get outside for brief periods during the day if you can. The first step to living a more positive life is to make sure you are healthy both physically and mentally.
