Enlarge Your Vision

As I mentioned in a post from last year, I am a big fan of Joel Osteen. I think he is a great motivational speaker who happens to be a pastor. His book, Live Your Best Life Now, is divided up into seven steps. On my way into work today, I was listening to the first CD from the audio book, which talks about the first step to living your best life now. It's called Enlarging Your Vision.

What does this mean? Quite simply, it means you need to step out of your comfort zone and dream big. One way Joel puts it is, "If you can't conceive it on the inside, you'll never receive it on the outside." We've all heard friends or family say something like, "I can't do that... Or, that'll never happen to me." You know what, it won't. If you don't believe it can happen, it won't. But, if you believe it can and will happen, it will. It might not happen right away, but God has a way of rewarding those who believe in themselves and trust in him.

So, start enlarging your vision today. Step out of your comfort zone and go for it. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest. Don't let your fear prevent you from living the life you've always wanted.
