Fred Thompson To Take Step Towards Presidency

According to Yahoo News, Fred Thompson (Former Tennessee Senator and Law & Order actor) will take a step toward a formal presidential candidacy next week, several officials with knowledge of the plans said Wednesday.

I think he'll make a good run for it as well. After yesterday's news about Russia successfully testing an ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) that they say is capable of overcoming any existing or future missile defense systems, I think it's imperative we place someone in the presidency who has a very strong backbone and is willing to stand face-to-face with any enemy or potential enemy we may have.

We'll see. It's definitely going to be an interesting race.
