Remember this video from YouTube of the two men who befriended a lion called Christian. It was a remarkable story of the bond between two men and a lion.

The story behind the YouTube video is now for sale on Amazon, and it's definitely worth a look. With all the other negative news going on these days, it's nice to see a book like this getting a lot of publicity. The book is titled, A Lion Called Christian - The Story of the Remarkable Bond Between Two Friends and a Lion.

It captures the moving reunion of two young men and their pet lion Christian, after they had left him in Africa with Born Free’s George Adamson to introduce him into his rightful home in the wild.

A Lion Called Christian tells the remarkable story of how Anthony “Ace” Bourke and John Rendall, visitors to London from Australia in 1969, bought the boisterous lion cub in the pet department of Harrods. For several months, the three of them shared a flat above a furniture shop on London’s King’s Road, where the charismatic and intelligent Christian quickly became a local celebrity, cruising the streets in the back of a Bentley, popping in for lunch at a local restaurant, even posing for a fashion advertisement. But the lion cub was growing up—fast—and soon even the walled church garden where he went for exercise wasn’t large enough for him. It's the week of the Masters Golf tournament, which is like the Super Bowl or World Series for golf fans. I thought I'd take a look at one of the most memorable moments in the history of the tournament this week. Today's video is from the 2005 tournament. It's Tiger Woods' 2nd shot on the par 3 16th hole, and it's one of the most unbelievable chips you'll ever see. I remember watching this on TV and I couldn't help but jump when Tiger's ball went in the hole. Enjoy!

Tiger Woods - Hole In One - 1997 Phoenix Open

I wanted to post this today since the FBR Open in Phoenix is going on right now. Tiger's not playing in the tournament this year, but this video is incredible. It's a brief video, and I'll try to find a longer one showing the pandemonium that occured after he hit the shot, but this video does give you a little taste of it. I remember watching this on TV, and it was incredible.

If you're not familiar with the FBR (Phoenix) Open, it's the loudest and most-attended tournament of the year, and the 16th hole is a par 3 hole that is completely surrounded by bleachers, corporate tents and alcohol-drenched fans. It's unbelievable how loud it gets towards the end of the day on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy the video!
